- Digital media: creating blog posts, newsletters, and social updates from field reports.
- Visual documentation: editing photos and videos from our regional field teams.
About the Role
This is a remote position working closely with the media team in Bogor. You will be responsible for maintaining our editorial calendar, interviewing field staff, and formatting project updates.
Responsibilities
The Communications officer coordinates digital media content, edits field stories, and manages our outreach channels.
Content Creation
- Writing project highlights, blog posts, and newsletter updates.
- Collaborating with regional teams to gather raw stories and media.
Channel Management
- Managing Hutanin's social channels and responding to inquiries.
- Monitoring engagement metrics and optimizing content formats.
Qualifications
- Strong writing and storytelling skills in both Indonesian and English.
- Experience managing social media accounts or digital newsletters.
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Premiere/CapCut).
- Interest in environmental issues, conservation, and community-led action.
